Web mirrors provide an exact copy of the original site.
Additionally, our Web mirrors can be localized, and we maintain
<lang>.devuan.org to facilitate fast access to local resources.
Our Web is designed to provide stable information about the Devuan project. Its contents originate in discussions over the mailing list, on IRC, across issues, and in this forum. We use the
wiki feature of topics to turn the opening post into a wiki page, editable by the community. Finally, contents reach the static Web for mirroring.
We deliberately use a restricted namespace:
/os contains most of the pages
/ui contains stylesheets, images, and other assets
/<lang> can be optionally set to support multilingual site on the mirror (and eat some of the two-letter namespace)
The rest of the URLs are free to be used as they wish by the mirror operators, so that they can use them for local events and documentation, blogs, localized forums, and other Web services to the local or linguistic community.
